DMS Australia
The DMS Australia operations will consist of a mining operation, wet concentration plant and product dispatch facilities, with a mining operation and processing facility located 13 km east of the town of Minyip. The heavy mineral concentrate will be transported from this facility via rail to a selected port for export.
Mining
Mining will be performed by utilising conventional dry mining techniques. Studies are continuing to identify the most cost effective mining method and equipment selection. Click HERE for an illustration of one of the concepts that DMS is currently evaluating.
Processing
Mined ore will be processed through a conventional all-spiral separator circuit producing magnetic and non-magnetic mineral concentrates. These concentrates will be exported to China for further processing into intermediate mineral sands products. Click HERE for a conceptual illustration of the processing plant.
